Guy Nelson Principal
Guy Nelson has over 35+ years of experience in the hospitality industry largely focused on FF&E installations for new buildings and renovations including casinos, hotels, resorts, and vacation ownership condominiums. Prior to founding PPMG, Guy held various Vice President & Director level leadership positions with the following FF&E procurement & project management services companies including Carver & Associates, HFS Concepts 4, and Jonathan Nehmer & Associates. In addition, Guy has held senior level leadership positions with the following hotel developer/operators including Wyndham Vacation Ownership, Remington Hotel Corporation, Sunterra Resorts, and Harveys Casino Resorts.
I realized throughout my 35+ years as an executive managing procurement operations for large companies and (or) hiring procurement service providers, while acting as a project manager/owner’s representative, that there are better ways to operate and improve service levels to client partners.
The business model for many procurement service providers is focused on the sale and not the client’s project. Typically, less experienced associates are assigned to multiple projects with very little oversight that can be costly to the client. I founded PPMG to provide experienced procurement management services focused on the client’s project.
